Many food products and medicines are available in bottles – glass or plastic. All of them have labels with all the details of the product in it. Such bottles have to be labeled in bulk quantity. | In this process, the bottles are placed manually in the machine. The operator pulls a lever and the labeling process starts. The bottle is placed in a conveyor belt. It is sent by power driven rollers, through a conveyor belt. The label is dispensed from the stacking container. This label is applied, free of wrinkles to the bottles. The backing paper of the label is waste paper that has to be discarded. This is taken away by a separate spool to be discarded after the whole process is completed. The main spool can take labels up to 300 mm. diameter. The waste paper spool can also handle the full amount of backing paper from the whole process. |  |

The position of the labels on the bottles is very important. It has to be consistent and precise. The bottle labeler machines will be able to handle this perfectly. Some bottles require full and some partial labeling of the bottle. The label height in the bottle can be changed to suit the different sized and shaped bottles. You do not have to change any of the parts of the machine to accommodate different shapes and sizes of bottles. It has a built in safety device to avoid damage to the bottles and feed worm. The machine has provision for it to be oiled continuously for lubrication. Bottles are generally cylindrical in shape. The machine is easy to set up, is user friendly and easy to operate. Anyone can be trained to handle it. It is computer controlled. Pressure sensitive labels made of paper or plastic are applied on to the bottles. The fast rotation of the cylinder allows for high speed labeling. The machine is not costly and does not require a lot of maintenance as it a fully gear drive system. You can have 30 to 50 percent savings because of the strip gluing system. The rate of production will be 15 to 20 units per minute which amount to about 900 to 1200 units per hour. Each operator can thus label thousands of bottles making the process quick. The whole process of labeling is well organized. The machine is reliable and efficient.
